When you go back to the place where you two first met. Nothing hurts more than remembering how you first saw them, the way they were perfect in every single way possible. The way you thought “Holy shit, it’s meant to be…”

The moment your eyes met, the moment you pushed aside all your insecurities and grew the guts to talk to them. It all just comes rushing back and you realize all the things you went through, all the ups and downs just ended up being for nothing.

Thinking that no one understands the meaning of this place. Getting all choked up remembering the first time you held hands, your first kiss, your first date. Remembering the nervous wreck you were when you met their parents, or the adrenaline of sneaking around.

Days, weeks, months or maybe even years pass, but everytime you go back to this place it’s just like traveling back in time. Wishing you could redo all your wrongs, wishing you hadn’t given up at the slightest chance of love.

Then, after reminicsing, your last thought is: Do they even remember this place the same way I do ? Or have they forgotten ?
